Founded in 1994, Albiral began with a relentless pursuit of perseverance, innovation, and a deep commitment to its customers. From humble beginnings to a global presence, the company has continuously pushed the boundaries of meeting room technology, especially with the creation of the Arthur Holm brand in 2008.
At the heart of Arthur Holm’s success lies a passion for innovation. By combining cutting-edge research, technological expertise, traditional craftsmanship, and a profound understanding of user needs, the company has consistently introduced groundbreaking solutions that have transformed communication and collaboration.
Did you know that in the 1990s, Albiral was known as Avialec, which stood for “aviation and electronics”? The company started by building ultralight planes and developing electronic products for the aviation market, including stroboscopic lamps. The fact that a small company like ours could build a functional plane speaks volumes about our capabilities. However, the aviation market proved unprofitable, leading us back to manufacturing monitors. Mr. Romero, the founder, had extensive experience designing TV sets in the seventies and eighties, and he was the one who created the brand Albiral in 1985. More than 20,000 CRT televisions were manufactured under this brand at that time.
Additionally, he founded the brand Belson for car radios, demonstrating his visionary approach with several patents registered in the seventies.
After the Avialec experience Mr. Romero’s daughter, Montse Romero, joined the company and rebranded it as Albiral Display Solutions, shifting its focus to the design and manufacture of video monitors. This time, it was our imagination that took flight, and we concentrated on creating monitors for broadcast, military, education, and digital signage.
In 2002, we designed a retractable CRT monitor to integrate into a table. Despite the challenges of working with such a bulky and heavy device, we succeeded. It wasn’t very silent or slim, but it worked…
The advent of flat screens, which were lighter and more space-efficient, further propelled our journey.
In 2004, we secured our first patent. Though the monitor’s appearance back then was vastly different from today’s designs, the seeds of our innovation had already been planted.
And when Danish inspiration arrived, Henrik Holm proudly introduced Arthur Holm. And what a change this was! Danish design combined with Mediterranean passion ushered in a new era.

Today, besides our manufacturing plant, we have physical presence in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Riyadh, and Mumbai.
